Design

Design with an engineering team behind it.

Brand identity, storefronts, configurator UX, SaaS and dashboard design — done by a studio that also writes the code. The design ships because the same people build it. No agency handover gap, no AI-mockup theatre.

Founding client · 3spots left

30% off our first 3 projects — in exchange for the right to publish the work.

We're building our public case-study shelf. Book before 21 June 2026 and you get a senior build at a founding rate; we get a named case study (with your sign-off) to show the next client. Honest trade, real deadline — we only need three.

What a design engagement looks like

Six pieces, every time. The mix changes; the parts don't.

Brand & identity

Logo, type system, palette, and a usable design system. Two-week sprint, one revision round, source files included. The same identity work that produced the etherlabz.com brand and the open-source theme references.

Storefront & landing-page design

Conversion-focused page design for ecom launches, configurator entry points, and SaaS landings. Above-the-fold copy and layout treated as one decision, not two.

Configurator UX

The interaction layer of made-to-order — option trees, real-time price reveal, dealer flows, B2B portals. Designed before the engineering quote, so scope is real.

SaaS & dashboard design

Product UI for internal tools, AI apps, fintech dashboards, and analytics surfaces. Dense data without overwhelm. Patterns reused across the case studies below.

Design systems & tokens

Color, type, spacing, motion, and component tokens shipped as Figma libraries + JSON so engineering pulls them directly. No "re-interpret the Figma" handover loss.

Hand-off engineering can build

Figma + tokens + a working frontend snippet for the pieces that benefit from one. Because we ship the engineering too, the design is never drawn in a vacuum.

Where we stand on AI mockups

AI is a tool. The work is still the work.

Plain version: we use AI inside design discovery, we don't ship AI screenshots as deliverables, and we ship the engineering ourselves so the design survives reality.

We use AI inside the work

Concept exploration, reference scouring, copy variants, ideation. Faster discovery, more options on the table. Standard part of how we work.

We do not ship AI mockups as design

An AI screenshot is not a design system. It's a moodboard with a syntax error. The work that matters is decisions about hierarchy, density, motion, contrast, and engineering-ability — not the pixels themselves.

We ship the engineering too

That's the moat. A design we hand to ourselves to build is a design that survives reality — tokens, responsive breakpoints, real data, edge cases. Most agencies hand off and pray.

Honesty check

When we're probably the right call

Four signals that point at us. None of them apply? Tell us anyway — we'll be honest about whether the fit is there.

You're launching or rebranding

A new product, a new market, or a brand that's outgrown what was good enough at year one. You want identity that ships, not slides about identity.

You need ecom or SaaS UI that converts

Storefront launches, configurator entry points, SaaS dashboards, or B2B portals. The design has to do the commercial job, not just look nice in Dribbble.

You're shipping a configurator

Option trees, real-time price reveals, dealer flows. Designed before the engineering quote — so the scope, the build, and the price are all of a piece.

You want design that ships, not Figma trophies

You want one studio that does the design and the engineering, so nothing gets re-interpreted in handover. The whole point of doing both halves under one roof.

Pricing

Visible numbers. No "let's chat."

Two design tiers, available standalone or stacked onto an engineering engagement (15% off the design tier when bundled).

Full breakdown, what's included, and the engineering-bundle discount on the pricing page.

Got a brand, a storefront, or a configurator that needs design?

30-minute call. We'll tell you whether a brand sprint, a single surface, or a stacked engineering + design engagement fits — or that we aren't the right call.
